Oh Snap!

Yeah, oh snap alright. At full draw, it snapped right in the middle in my face. At least I got out of it okay with only a scratch on my chin. I'm heart broken. My poor baby out of commission. =(

Long New Year Weekend

2010 started off with a bang...literally. Epic storm clouds rolled over Melbourne, casting the city into darkness like some sort of Armageddon, and then it poured bucket loads for 15- 30 minutes, 3 hours before midnight. At 12, fireworks erupted from Federation Square in Melbourne and down the beach near where I stay. January 1, 2010, I had a good BBQ at coach's place, and we celebrated his birthday late yesterday at FAC. It was a fabulous banana cake. I should get the recipe off from Alec's mom. Leesa made awesome cranberry muffins too. I wonder how they made them all so fluffy, moist and oh so perfect.

Yuzu on the Rocks

Today's a rather normal day I guess. Went for practice, head home for lunch and rest, and then remembered I needed some groceries. Many of you know that on boxing day, most of the shops hold massive sales to clear their stocks or just to make some money. So of course the crowd would be huge. Huge would be an understatement if you were to go to Chadstone to shop. I heard it was pure chaos. Being someone who hates crowds very much, I stuck to Bayside, but even then at 3pm, there were still lots of people about in the shopping centre. Got my groceries without problem, and even shopped a little myself. A total of 3 garments for $20. lol. I need new clothes anyway. Watched 'Young Victoria' during dinner. Good movie. I recommend it.

Took out my favorite liqueur. I wonder whether Singapore has this in their japanese markets.
Nothing like pork belly with ssamjang and kimchi, fried rice and a nice cold glass of Yuzu liqueur on the rocks. =)

Out of my mind

The only other time I felt this stressed was during the examinations. Currently, I'm staring at the computer screen feeling a little lost as to what to do. Application is done (hopefully the right way), I'm not so sure if I've got all my documents right or if I've gotten them all. I think I really need someone to sit beside me and go through them with me while I submit them. =/ Such a dependent. It also didn't help that I've now got added pressure from practice. The weather was not cooperative either, and has become super hot nowadays, I'm losing sleep since the weekend. Consecutively. Everyone always assumed that I always know what to do next, make decisions without batting an eye, perform well, and expect me to get everything together right on the first try. It's not easy. I cannot take it anymore. I'm going to bed. NOW.
